It was designed in 1941. It is in the permanent collection of the museum of Modern Art in New York, due to its design. It is used to prepare filter coffee. Extraction is achieved by wetting the ground coffee placed in the filter paper with hot water which gives coffee clean taste, sweetness and rich flavor profile.
